The qualification gained via the Anatomy and Physiology Diploma course is

VTCT – I.I.H.H.T Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology Diploma.

 

This qualification allows you to claim exception due to prior learn for anatomy and physiology sections of other holistic therapy level 3 certificates or diplomas.  This allows you to concentrate on the practical hands sections of the certificate or diploma.

 

Course Content:

 

  • Cells and Tissue. 
  • The Skin (Integumentary system). 
  • The Skeletal system.  The Muscular system. 
  • The Cardiovascular system. 
  • The Lymphatic system. 
  • The Respiratory system. 
  • The Nervous system. 
  • The Endocrine system. 
  • The Reproductive system. 
  • The Digestive system. 
  • The Urinary system.

 

The home study pack includes.

  • Course notes for each section. 
  • A Workbook for each section. 
  • Practice exam questions for each section.

 

Tutor support is via e-mail or telephone.

 

 

Entry Requirements:

 

No previous experience is required. 

 

 

VTCT Registration

 

A VTCT registration, assessment and verification fee of £62.00 is required.  This fee will be reduced if the candidate is already registered with VTCT.

 

Assessment Process

 

The candidate is required to produce a portfolio of evidence which includes; 

  • Written coursework via workbooks. 
  • Anatomy and Physiology exam on site at Harmony House.

 

Once the portfolio is complete, the candidate will take the Anatomy and Physiology exam.
