Enjoy an advanced massage course  in your workplace.  No need to worry about travelling time or the cost and expense of additional staffing – we will come to you.  A minimum of two students are required to run a course.

Or enjoy your course in Glossop and within easy reach of Manchester, Stockport, Sheffield, Macclesfield, Huddersfield, Barnsley, Buxton and Chesterfield.  All our therapists are experienced teachers and qualified assessors and members of the FHT.

Course Profile:

The Advanced Massage Techniques Course provides you with the in depth knowledge required to carry out deep tissue massage techniques which can be used to alleviate many muscular conditions. The course is suitable for those experienced massage practitioners wishing to upgrade their current skills. The certificate can be added to your current insurance arrangements.

Course Content:

• Health and Safety
• Contra-indications relating to deep tissue massage
• Contra-actions relating to deep tissue massage
• Client consulation
• Practical Advanced Massage Techniques including deep tissue effleurage, pettrisage and friction techniques.  Neuro-Muscluar techniques and the role of stretching.
• Client after-care advice
• Referral to other professionals

Practical massage will be conducted upon other members of the course. You will each have an opportunity to carry out advanced massage techniques and receive the benefits of deep tissue massage.
